Great game Dragons! Way to go!
After the game, we had a special surprise for the kids. We had decided to take them to see Monsters vs. Aliens. We debated back and forth whether or not to see the 3-D version. Daron was worried that the kids wouldn't wear their glasses the whole time, but ultimately, we decided to go ahead and give it a try. Alex thought the glasses were super cool and did great. Sydney was a little freaked out at first and was worried the monsters were gonna get her! But, by the end she kept saying "It's not scary. It's just monsters." She says her favorite Monster was Bob, the big blue blob. The movie was really good, I think kids and parents would enjoy it.
This evening we colored eggs and then went on an Easter egg hunt. We decided to do it this evening since there is a chance of severe weather tomorrow. We probably had over 100 eggs in the backyard. It started sprinkling on us while we were out there, and we had been inside less than 30 minutes when it started pouring over here. The kids didn't mind and ran around like crazy. Alex was funny because when his basket was overflowing we tried to talk him into using a 2nd basket, but he was so worried we would take away the first one, that he decided to just fill the bucket so high it kept spilling and the rest he was just hoarding in his shirt. Obviously, the were ecstatic to see their huge baskets full of candy. What they don't know is that most of that might be going to Daron's work on Monday :~) !
So, here are a ton of Easter pictures. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!
Why can I never get a picture where everyone is looking at the camera?!? Oh, well....it is cute anyways!

you dyed over a hundred eggs???
ReplyDeleteNo, we only dyed 12!!!! The ones for the egg hunt were plastic.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a fun day! Love the pictures! I'm sure we are both glad that we did our egg hunts yesterday- this rain hasn't stopped!
